Jordan Foreign Trade
The value of Jordan Foreign Trade reached JD 2768.5 million during the 1st quarter 2006 with growth rate of 19.6 % compared with the same period 2005. This growth came due to a 15.2 % increase in domestic exports, 22.9 % increase in imports, and 3.2 % decrease in re-exports.
The value of exports (exports and re-exports) reached JD 788.7 million for the 1st quarter 2006 compared with JD 703.8 million for the same period 2005.
The value of imports reached JD 1979.8 million for the 1st quarter 2006 compared with JD 1610.4 million for the same period 2005.
